The Govt. had sponsored a new roof of aluminium sheets for a 3 classrooms (80*20 feet in total) in 2013-'14. However, as Kottayam is subject to extreme heat conditions through most of the year, the teachers and students find it difficult to manage with the new heat absorbent roof. A false ceiling will help cut down the heat considerably.
